Essendon Royals
Essendon Royals
is a Victorian soccer club.

Founded in 1959 as Triestina, the Royals have gone under a number of names, and have seen their senior men's side merge and unmerge with several clubs over the course of their history; these mergers at one point led to the Royals not fielding a senior men's team, and having to start again from the bottom of the Victorian soccer pyramid.[1]

For the purposes of this record, the wiki will be treating the mainline Triestina/Essendon City/Essendon Royals history as a continuum.
