The Australia Day Cup was a trophy awarded to the winner of an annual fixture played between South Melbourne and Perth Glory on Australia Day.[1]
Intended to be a perpetual trophy, the two sides played for the cup just one time, in round 21 of the 2003-2004 National Soccer League season, a game which finished 0-0. The result saw South Melbourne retain the trophy.
