Ante Kovacevic was a defender who played for South Melbourne during the final season of the National Soccer League.[1]

An NSL veteran prior to coming to South, Kovacevic had already clocked up over 200 matches at national level thanks to long stints at Melbourne Knights and Adelaide City.

After the dissolution of the NSL, Kovacevic breifly joined St Albans[2] in the Victorian Premier League, before moving to Selangor in Malaysia, and then resuming his Australian top-flight career with Perth Glory in the A-League.
